Subaru accelerates design and production with CADDi

Subaru uses CADDi to cut drawing search time, saving hundreds of hours.

Before CADDi, retrieving drawing-related information at SUBARU required submitting formal inquiries to the busy design department, often taking a week or more and causing bottlenecks across production. By adopting CADDi Drawer, a cloud-based AI platform, SUBARU employees can now quickly find the information they need—without waiting for responses—eliminating hundreds of hours of non-productive work each month.

This efficiency boost has already contributed to $6.5 million in direct cost reductions in 2024 and supports SUBARU’s “One SUBARU” initiative, which aims to integrate design, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. Beyond cost savings, CADDi has transformed knowledge sharing, accelerated employee onboarding, and empowered teams to make faster, more informed decisions. With company-wide adoption, SUBARU is leveraging its data to drive world-leading manufacturing, unlock new value creation, and foster continuous innovation across every department.
